Empower 2010 Hits The High Notes

This year's Empower 2010, the only national purchasing conference specifically for the Further Education sector, took place on the 5th and 6th May in Birmingham. The event was held in the stylish surroundings of the Hilton Metropole Hotel and comprised of two days of enlightening seminar sessions and an excellent suppliers exhibition. Both delegates and exhibiting suppliers attended the Gala dinner on the 5th with the operatic singing waiters being the highlight of the evening for many!

The CPC would like to thank everyone who attended the conference, whether it be as a delegate, a supplier or a presenter. This year's event proved to be an extremely valuable and enjoyable few days for all concerned which showcased how the FE sector has engaged with the concept of collaborative procurement.
